Jennie Pierce, a retired Captain with the New Mexico State Police, oversaw the governance of the 134 Department of Public Safety’s policy and procedures, which are a proven modern management standard. She also managed the New Mexico State Police’s national accreditation program, to which the agency maintained a body of standards, developed by public safety practitioners, covering a wide range of up-to- date public safety initiatives that recognized professional excellence. With this experience Pierce has learned how to develop a comprehensive set of directives that are well thought out and uniformed to meet the needs of an agency.
