Description: The DWI Checkpoint class is an eight-hour block of instruction that goes over all the parameters related to conducting a checkpoint. We will review case law in detail, as this is one of the most critical components of conducting a checkpoint. We will also review the setup and all the necessary steps to complete one successfully. This course will provide the information you need to successfully set up a checkpoint for your agency. Additionally, part of the instruction is the attendance of a checkpoint where we will observe the operation.
