The DWI Checkpoint class is an eight-hour block of instruction that goes over all the parameters related to conducting a checkpoint. We will review case law in detail, as this is one of the most critical components of conducting a checkpoint. We will also review the setup and all the necessary steps to complete one successfully. This is an informative class that will provide you with the information you need to be successful when setting up one for your agency. Additionally, part of the instruction is the attendance of a checkpoint where we will observe the operation.
